Lanvin for H&M

Play dress up with this new affordable luxury collection of modern, playful classics available November 20th

Lanvin for H&M

On the heels of uber-successful design partnerships (and by uber-successful I mean borderline in-store riot-inducing) with Stella McCartney, Matthew Williamson, Viktor & Rolf and Jimmy Choo (to name a few), H&M has teamed up with one of Paris's premier fashion houses, Lanvin, to produce a mass-market collection.

A playful mix of puffed-sleeves, ruffles, bejeweled furs (faux furs, that is), oversized floral prints, bows and frayed rosettes, the collection, which includes everything from jewelery and dresses to coats and shoes, is a dream come true for any ambitious fashionista. Think: A chic version of the outfits you would have put together playing in your mom's closet as a child.

Lanvin's artistic director, Alber Elbaz, says his aim was to "translate the dream of luxury to everyone." From the skillful tailoring to the vibrant colours, every piece in the collection is covet-worthy (and worth lining up for).

Pieces range from $19.99 (for the striking pair of sunglasses pictured here) to $349. The line hits select H&M locations across North America November 20th.

Another fun fact: The face of Lanvin for H&M is Canada's own Irina Lazareanu. Watch her model the collection in the video below.
