The perfect cut

A chin-length layered bob with a long fringe suits most hair types and face shapes—plus it's a great low-maintenance style for highlighted hair. Blond hair can easily turn brassy or get split ends, so a versatile bob, trimmed monthly, always looks fresh.

Styling tip
Mix a few drops of Clinique Healthy Shine Serum, 30 mL/$20—it contains UV filters to beat that dry brassy look—with Physique Volume Boosting Gel, 150 g/$10, then apply to damp hair before styling to give fine blond locks a glossy finish. Hair and makeup, Joy Campbell-Smith, Giovanni Artist Management.
