One of our favourite places to snag cheap and chic clothing is H&M. They always have the latest trends to mix and match with your designer wear (or your Joe Fresh). And now the Swedish retailer is launching a tote bag in support of UNICEF's Kenya Girls Scholarship Programme. It provides scholarships to girls from rural communities to help them access better education. Selling for a mere $13, 25 percent of the sales will go the the program. And with the lovely 5 cents you have to pay for every plastic bag, who doesn't need a cute new tote to throw into their handbag for impromptu shopping trips. And you know what else is pretty cool? It was designed by H&M sales associate Steven Pham, a B.C. employee who entered a contest within the company. He's super excited to be involved and imagine seeing your design on thousands of bags across the country? He's a lucky guy and I think he knows it. Check out his designs at select stores now.
