Haiti: Top brands step up

ToyWatch (the favourite watch brand of celebs like Michelle Obama and fashion editors) is launching a limited edition watch to raise funds and awareness, with 30 percent of proceeds to be donated to Doctors Without Borders Canada.

Available at select retailers across the country, 400 inscribed watches will be available for purchase at $300. The Neon will be available in white, black, dark grey and purple.

The Canadian Government has committed to matching all funds contributed by February 12, 2010 to specific organizations so get buying!

A list of all participating retailers can be found on the ToyWatch Canada Website.

Also, this past Saturday, lifestyle brand Esprit donated one dollar from every purchase to the victims in Haiti. The total amount raised will go to SOS Children's Villages Haiti, a international non-governmental social development organisation especially focused on children without parental care and children at risk of losing parental care.

It's not too late to help. Check for local fundraisers near you or text HELP to 1291 to make a $5 donation to the ONEXONE Foundation via Rogers. The five dollar donation will be charged to your next Rogers bill. It takes 5 seconds and any little bit helps.
