Get floral at the office

By Kate
jen obrien alex laws
Inspiration comes from those around you and the lovely ladies in the Chatelaine office show no shortage of fashion savvy. Check out Alex Laws, one of our copy editors. She bought these pants at a garage sale and they fit her to a tee – plus they're the high waisted pleated numbers seen on every store shelf. But these are vintage and so unique! Of course someone so petite and cute can clearly pull them off, but if you're wary yourself make sure to pair them as Alex did with a lovely pair of brown wedges and a fitted neutral top to balance out the blousy bottoms. And on the same day I couldn't help but  notice our senior web editor Jen O'Brien. She's a constant source of style inspiration to me – she has some floral jeggings herself from Rag & Bone that look just lovely – but here she shows you how to mix in florals in a more demure way. Try them with cropped pants and flats and voila, easy flowery looks that will fly in the workplace.  – Kate Daley
