Up for Auction: a one of a kind pair of Geox shoes inspired by the Empire State Building

Shoe designers never cease to amaze. From Prada to Louis Vuitton, they are getting higher, crazier and more ornate. Check out this sequined Geox Empire State Building shoe that pays homage to the world's most famous skyscraper with a 12 cm, rhinestone-embellished heel.

Beginning February 26 until March 8th, one woman will have the chance to hold the Empire State Building in her hand. (Or on her heel depending on how you look at it.) The shoe, created in Italy by Geox's designers ' and of course, the lightweight sole is also breathable and waterproof. The shoe will be auctioned off on eBay and all proceeds will be donated to the Dress for Success organization, an international not for profit that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire and career development tools to help women thrive at work and in life.

Founded in New York City in 1997, Dress for Success provides each client with work appropriate outfits when she has a job interview. Dress for Success currently operates in 75 cities around the world including Toronto.
