Michelle Williams

With a Best Actress nomination, the pressure to impress could have easily led to an overdone fashion disaster. I couldn’t have been happier to see Michelle so cool, calm and effortlessly gorgeous in this vintage style Chanel haute couture gown. With hardly any jewellery, but Harry Winston stud-like earrings and a cocktail ring, her overall look is perfection.

Cate Blanchett

Her pleated Givenchy Haute Couture gown showcased just how powerful couture really is. With elaborate beading and a stunning pop of chartreuse, her gown was a work of art.

Gwyneth Paltrow

In what I like to call “the new black," the metallic Calvin Klein dress that Gwyneth wore was chic, sexy and oh-so-cool. Brian Atwood pumps and colourful Louis Vuitton jewels were the perfect add-ons to complete this winning look.

Halle Berry

Glowing in a nude and crystal encrusted Marchesa gown with organaza and silk tulle ruffles, this show-stopping look could have kept us staring for hours. This is what glamour is all about!

Natalie Portman

With a disappointing gown at the Golden Globes, followed by a mediocre look at the SAG awards, the most anticipated look of the night most definitely did not disappoint. In a beautifully draped violet silk-chiffon gown by Rodarte with matching Tiffany tassel earrings, this dress instantly made up for all the upsets. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!
