Right now, we’re crazy for the 70s inspired wide-leg trouser that was seen all over the Spring ‘11 runways. But don’t wait until then as this style can easily be worn now in a jean material making it a great transitional piece.

The Gap’s new wide-leg trouser jean is a must for a casual weekend or a night out around town. This style is best worn with a tucked in button-down blouse or with a simple sweater for extra warmth. Or, throw on a pair of platform leather boots with a slim heel to achieve the illusion of impossibly long legs. Then, pair these versatile jeans with a wedge heel sandal for the warmer days of spring. Might we add…they are oh so comfortable! Now who can resist that?
