Weekly steal: A faded denim shirt

Add a fitted and light-coloured denim piece to your darker denim repertoire and wear it now and into the spring.

Weekly steal: A faded denim shirt

What it is: Faded denim shirt, $24, Joe Fresh

How to wear it: Don't be afraid of light-coloured denim. We love this faded shade and you can rest easy knowing that you can wear this shirt into spring. Layer it under a cozy knit (and be sure to let the collar and cuffs peek out) with waxed jeans and a pair of chelsea boots, or be brave and go denim on denim...just be sure your bottoms are of the darker variety.

Why I love it:  A denim shirt is my version of fashion "comfort food" (okay that, and grey Roots sweatpants). It's wash and go, doesn't hold a wrinkle and always, always wears well. I am wearing one now layered under a faux fur vest but can't wait to pair it with patterned shorts and sandals when the weather warms up.
