Dove launches a line just for men

I've always liked Dove's products. From their body washes to their deodorants, they have always succeeded in soothing my sensitive skin. And with the launch of their new men's skincare line called Dove Men + Care I couldn't be more excited for the males I know who are stuck on harsh products that irritate their skin. Why men won't just buy "women's products" is beyond me. I say they should embrace their skin type, get out there and find suitable products ' no matter how feminine the packaging. But now they don't have to scour the beauty product aisles in vain to find their latest face and body wash because Dove has made it easy for them. When I first received the products, I dutifully took them home and gave them to the man in my life with the instructions that he needed to give me feedback.  His expert male opinion? He liked the smell and the feeling of the products. And there's something about double-duty products that just attracts the male species. Take for example the new Dove Men+Care Body and Face Bars. These duos (above) are sure to be a best seller because you don't need to buy a separate body and face wash or lug a lot of products to and from the gym. (And the price is right ' $5 for two bars and $7 dollars for four bars.) There are also alternatives to the classic bar of soap with their liquid washes. Dove Body+Face Washes (below) come in Clean Comfort, Deep Clean and Extra Fresh all for $7.

The Deep Clean Face and Body Wash was my personal tester's favourite ' it has little granules to help exfoliate and the scent wasn't overpowering. The products aren't too harsh because they use Micromoisutre technology that deposits just enough moisture without feeling greasy.

And of course no shower experience would be complete without a way to lather it all up. Check out the Dove Men+Care Active Clean Shower Tool, $7 (above). It's a great alternative to a feminine shower pouff and has that extra exfoliating side, perfect for a man's tough skin. Plus, it just looks cool. Now, gentlemen, get scrubbing and put your wife or girlfriend's fancy products down. Find them in stores now.
