Spring is in the air
What: L'Occitane En Provence luncheon.
Where: ICI Bistro, Toronto.
Our hosts from L'Occitane had us dreaming of spring in the south of France, despite the freezing temperatures. We were introduced to the L'Occitane Almond collection and the limited edition Tonic Body Oil, which features the well-known skin-saving properties of almond oil and leaves skin feeling super soft, smooth and delicately scented.
Forever floral
What: Forever 21 spring preview.
Where: The Drake Hotel, Toronto.
Nothing had us craving light and flirty fashions more than seeing blush-coloured pieces and floral-print dresses at Forever 21’s spring preview. We hope you enjoy this sneak peek of what’s to come — we’ll be letting go of our bulky winter clothes in no time!
Bronzed beauties
What: Guerlain launches for spring and summer beauty.
Where: Chatelaine headquarters, Toronto.
Nothing could start our day off better than test driving the newest foundations and bronzers, which had us feeling sunny despite the cold!
Shop 'til you drop
What: Meet-and-greet with handbag designer Aimee Kestenberg.
Where: The Shopping Channel, Toronto.
We have bag envy! Aussie-born handbag designer Aimee Kestenberg showed off her latest line of luxe purses for us this week. (We'll take one in every colour, please!)
Fall for JNBY
What: JNBY fall preview.
Where: Queen Street West, Toronto.
The raw finishes, uneven hemlines and convertible pieces set our hearts aflutter at JNBY’s fall 2014 preview (yes, already!). Our style intern Kaylana couldn’t resist trying on this top (it can also be worn as a skirt). This is one brand you’ll want to keep your eye on.
Teensy treasures
What: April market-pages shoot.
Where: Chatelaine photo studio, Toronto.
