Spring has—finally!—sprung, and warmer weather calls for a big reset. From matchy-matchy loungewear moments and airport-friendly essentials to new skincare hacks and bathroom refreshes, here's what our team loved this month.

Petit Lem Taupe Checkerboard Poplin Women's Summer Sleep Set, $84

A model wearing the Petit Lem Taupe Checkerboard Poplin Women's Summer Sleep Set for an article about the best purchases editors picked for April 2026

“I have never been one to splurge on PJs for myself (yes, I still sleep in old band tees like the elder emo that I am at heart). But Petit Lem—one of my favourite Canadian brands for adorable baby clothes—sold me on a cute shirt-and-shorts set when I learned that my one-year-old could wear a matching set of the same pyjamas. I fear there is nothing cuter in this life than a mini-me toddling around the house in the same taupe-and-white checkered loungewear. I also now see the appeal of wearing fancy pyjamas: this set is super comfortable and breathable, perfect for the coming warm summer nights.” —Erica Lenti, executive editor

Eve Gravel Shepherd Pants, $248

“These elastic-waistband, made-in-Montreal cotton pants are so unbelievably comfortable that it almost feels wrong to wear them outside of the house. But the textured grid pattern (which is tricky to see in the photo) is elevated enough to make them workplace appropriate when paired with a blazer. They’re also perfect for flights!” —Maureen Halushak, editor-in-chief

Typical Classic Bath Towel, $54

A Typical Classic Bath Towel in a rich velvet-like red colour for an article about the best purchases editors picked for April 2026

“I never thought I'd have strong opinions about a towel, but this one proved me wrong. Designed by the Vancouver-based co-founder of Herschel Supply Co., it’s made from 98 percent cotton and 2 percent spandex, which gives it a bit of stretch and means it won’t lose its shape over time. I have long, thick hair, and most towels loosen and fall off within seconds; this one actually stays in place once I wrap it, so I’m not constantly fixing it while getting ready. It’s a bit heavier than my usual towels, but very absorbent.” —Sun Ngo, creative director

Saje Dermedial Carrot + Restorative Barrier Mist, $36, and Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask, $35

A bottle of the Saje Dermedial Carrot+ Restorative Mist and the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask for an article about the best purchases editors picked for April 2026

“Normally, on a flight, I'll pop on a quick sheet mask in the last 30 minutes of the trip to deal with whatever the last couple of hours of air recirculation has done to my skin. I often feel weird doing it, but it makes such a difference! I've recently taken a few long-haul flights in short succession where I tried something different: spraying a barrier mist and swiping on a small amount of Summer Fridays' Jet Lag mask a couple of times throughout the flight, more if it's a long-haul one. Not only does it work just as nicely as the mask I used before, but I don't have to sit in a semi-public place with a wet sheet on my face. Win-win!” —Chantal Braganza, deputy editor, food

Gap Gauze Easy Barrel Pants, $108

A model wearing Gap Gauze Easy Barrel Pants in the shade cool brown for an article about the best purchases editors picked in April 2026

“I already own these cotton barrel pants in black and cobalt blue, but when they popped up on Gap’s website in this beautiful espresso shade, I immediately added them to my cart. They are by far the most comfortable pants I own and they’re cute enough to wear outside the house. They’re my go-to for long flights, when I need to look somewhat pulled together to go straight from the airport to a lunch or meeting. They keep selling out, so keep an eye out for the next restock—I promise you won’t regret it!” —Andréanne Dion, senior style, beauty and travel editor

Mejuri Puzzle Stacking Ring, from $168

A stack of Mejuri puzzle stacking rings A Typical Classic Bath Towel in a rich velvet-like red colour for an article about the best purchases editors picked for April 2026

“Mejuri recently sent me a few pieces from their new Puzzle collection. The rings feature a distinctive square design that feels refreshingly different from anything else I own. They’re also incredibly versatile—you can stack them, wear them across different fingers, or style them solo for a more minimal look. Each ring is set with a birthstone, making them a thoughtful option for Mother’s Day, birthdays, or bridesmaid gifts. I love them so much that I ended up purchasing another to add to my stack! I opted for sterling silver, but they’re also available in 18K gold vermeil.” —Amy Evans, commerce editorial director

Roots Toronto Tempo Beaver Key Chain, $26

A Roots Toronto Tempo Beaver Key Chain: (a stuff beaver holding a basketball on the right side wearing a sky blue sweater that says tempo) for an article about the best purchases editors picked for April 2026

“I'm really excited for Toronto's first WNBA team—the Toronto Tempo. I’m going to their first pre-season game on April 29, and I bought the Toronto Tempo keychain from Roots to celebrate; the beaver holding a basketball was just too cute to resist. And the tiny sweater worn by the beaver matches the colours of the team jerseys and basketball court. My keychain and I will be cheering on the Tempo from the stands for their inaugural season!” —Aimee Nishitoba, art director
