Ray restrictor

Toronto-based company Graydon makes one of my favourite face sunscreens ever — it's non-greasy and is a dream to wear underneath makeup. The vitamin-rich cream is loaded with antioxidants, non-nano zinc and is non-whitening, a huge deal for makeups artists like me. I usually apply it on top of my daily moisturizer or face oil, but it can be applied alone if you're looking for a good glow. Elements Sun Complex, $32/50mL, Graydon Clinical Luxury.

Scalp secret

Josh Rosebrook takes scalp and follicle health seriously, which is why his product line is so good at feeding your hair. This spray is a dream for anyone looking for a natural hair product that adds extra oomph to their ‘do. Organic yucca creates volume while nourishing your scalp. I love to use this spray on damp hair, but I also enjoy its beachy effect on dry locks. Lift Hair Texture & Volume Spray, $22, Josh Rosebrook
