Givenchy Dahlia Noir Eau de Toilette

$90, Givenchy

The sister scent of the eau de parfum of the same name that was launched last year, Givenchy’s Dahlia Noir eau de toilette version is lighter and juicier in composition. When you first spray this fragrance on it smells like a sweet cocktail of lemon, mandarin and peach, but then quickly eases into a lightly peppered bouquet of roses. The eau finishes with a warm and powdery blend of sandalwood and cedar, amber and vanilla. It’s the perfect combination of French elegance with Hollywood glamour—not really a surprise when you think about it. The house of Givenchy did, after all, design a one-of-a-kind wardrobe for Audrey Hepburn as well as create almost all of the outfits her characters wore on film.
