Get this look

An angled brush is a novice’s best friend. Start where you want the eyeliner to end and brush inward toward your nose. For bold lashes, apply a thickening mascara first on top of lashes, pulling down. Then sweep up underneath from the root, says Jones. Use your finger to hold up lashes for a few seconds.

If you’re using a gel or ink liner, make sure it’s dry before you coat your lashes with mascara.
