Get the look: Orange and Red Lipstick
The key to achieving the new softer pout seen on runways from Andrew Gn to Viktor & Rolf is to avoid lipliner. Gordon Espinet, senior VP of makeup artistry for M.A.C Cosmetics, recommends applying colour to the bottom lip only, pressing lips together and mushing the hue onto the top lip. Touch up as needed.
Pro tip: Prep your lips by lightly dotting concealer over the lip line to soften the edges, blending as you go. Apply the colour with your finger, blot and repeat.
