Beauty pick of the week: Covergirl & Olay Sculpting Blush

The fall runways were full of girls with strong, pronounced cheeks. We found a multi-tasking cream blush that will help you achieve this look and others with ease.

Inspired by the strong cheek Pat McGrath, Covergirl Global Creative Design Director (she gets to play with makeup everyday), created for the fall 2011 Prada and Versace shows, we decided to give this Sculpting Blush a whirl.

At first glance, the red and white swirl seems intense but quickly warms under your finger or with the accompanying pad to create a softer pinky hue. Beyond a cheek enhancer, McGrath had this anti-aging skincare product pulling triple duty as a blush, eye shadow and lip colour on the runways. The creamy texture is so light and easy to blend, we’re guessing you’ll want to use it all over too.

COVERGIRL & Olay Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush, Available at mass market retailers and covergirl.ca, $15.
