Beauty Buzz: Ole Henriksen's tips on how to use an eye cream

The other day I sat down with Ole Henriksen – the skin guru behind some of Hollywood’s most beautiful faces – right after his appearance on the Marilyn Denis Show. Sweet and bubbly, Henriksen was eager to tell me about the latest additions to his Truth skin care line. And with his endearing Danish accent and clad in a purple paisley shirt, I was smitten from the moment we met and happy to listen.

The Total Truth Eye Cream SPF 15, is a thick, rich cream packed with Omega-3 extracts to diminish fine lines and vitamin C to brighten up dark circles.

Pro tips on how to use an eye cream:

“I chose a super hydrating texture because your eyes are the first to show any signs of aging, and by keeping them hydrated you can retain more water and fullness in the under eye area,” says Henriksen.

He suggests dabbing the cream onto the back of your hand first and blending it a little to heat the product up, that way it will spread more evenly.

And don’t forget to blend into your temples and down to your cheekbones for the best results.

The product is set to launch in September at Sephora stores across Canada.
