At the Vivienne Westwood Gold Label Spring/Summer 2011 show the inspiration was a modern take on ancient civilizations. The look was evocative of the ancient Egyptians, with hair wrapped up mummy-style and adorned with contrasting pins and white clay in the hairline or the nape of the neck.

At the Dsquared Spring/Summer 2011 show, McKnight created messy bows with deep side parts to convey a touch of masculinity. McKnight talks more about the look here:
