For a little break from beauty, here is some exciting fashion news! With the opening of Anthropologie's new store in Yorkville I pretty much have no reason to cross the border (well except for Victoria's Secret and you know, the sites). This is the brand's second store in Canada as the Shops at Don Mills location opened a few months back.  With its kitschy, cutesy vintage wares, this store is sure to be a hit. I was lost in seconds amid their beautiful silk dresses for summer, their statement making jewellery and practically leapt into their home section to play with beautiful glass knobs and other antique home pieces that I covet for my "design in progress" condo.

You can find labels like Elevenses, Allihop, Moulinette Soeurs, Bica Chia, Floreat, Maeve, Odille and Taikonhu, Corey Lynn Calter, Anna Sui, Yoana Barashi and Plenty by Tracy Reese.

Anthropologie's team will also visit the Yorkville store to conduct customer workshops on repurposing apparel and accessories. How very savvy of them.

Check out the paper ostrich in the corner. It's an amazing piece of decor but scared the hell out of me when I was shopping.

With the official store opening on July 31st, to benefit the Nature Conservancy of Canada, customers were invited to help create their own statement necklaces.

You can find the store on 80 Yorkville Avenue and the hours are below!

Store hours: Monday ' Wednesday, 10 am ' 6 pm, Thursday ' Saturday, 10 am ' 8 pm, Sunday, 12 pm ' 6 pm. Phone: 416.964.9700.
