Warby Parker — known for their ultra-cool glasses and sunglasses — has expanded out of the U.S. into one of the country's most stylish neighbourhoods — Toronto's Queen West. Here are five reasons to get excited:

1. Until now, buying WP was an online-only affair — you had to click through the various styles and colours and guess what would look good on you. At their new location, not only can you try on all the different frames, you can also head to their Reference Desk to adjust your frames, get advice on choosing the right pair for your face shape and more.

2. They have frames that are exclusive to Canada. (They look like this and this.)

3. The new location will also carry books, with a focus on Canadian and Toronto authors.

4. Though they look expensive, with their mirrored lenses and sleek frames, eyeglasses and sunglasses start at $150, including prescription lenses.

5. You can feel good about your purchase with their "Buy A Pair, Give A Pair" program which distributes a pair of glasses to someone in need for every pair sold.

Warby Parker opens Saturday, August 6 at 684 Queen St. W.
