Here's what we suggest you do with leftover tomatoes
leftover ingredients, loose ends, crushed tomatoes, vegetable

Crushed tomatoes:

Romesco sauce

Whirl in a food processor with toasted almonds and cubed bread. Add olive oil until it forms a paste. Season with salt and pepper. Serve over chicken.

Quick salsa
Combine with chopped tomato and onion, minced jalapeno, black beans, corn and cilantro. Season with sugar, hot sauce and vinegar.

Tomato paste:

Pretty canapes
Spread on baguette slices. Top with grated parmesan or cheddar. Broil, then drizzle with balsamic and top with fresh basil.

Pink deviled eggs
Slice hard-boiled eggs in half. Scoop out yolkand mash with tomato paste and smoked paprika. Pipe back into eggs.
