The mystery of the cookie cutter

As part of our ongoing (never-ending?) cookie development project, we were rummaging through our exploding box of cookie cutters and came across this little gem: What is it? A helicopter? Submarine? Some Jurassic-era sea creature we had never heard of? Nothing for it -- we cooked one up while testing another round of our shortbreads. We're now referring to this little guy as the Hitchhiker. If only it could talk, no doubt it's got some good stories.
