Gordon Ramsay's chef's challenge

In November, we attended Gordon Ramsay's inaugural Chef's Challenge gala and fundraising event at The Carlu in Toronto. All money raised is being used to support research and education of breast and ovarian cancer by providing sustainable funding to The Samuel Lunenfeld Research Institute and The Marvelle Koffler Breast Centre of Mount Sinai Hospital.

With the help of Canadian celebrity chefs David Rocco, Jamie Kennedy, Lynn
Crawford, Mark McEwan and Massimo Capra, the Iron Chef-style event raised more than $1.1 million. Of course, the real superstars here are the participants/fundraisers who spent months raising money for the cause (and subsequently had an opportunity to cook alongside the celebrity chefs at the event!).

Our food editor, Claire, also had an opportunity to interview Gordon Ramsay and ask him some reader questions!  Tune in here to see what he had to say.
