1 lime
1 green onion, thinly sliced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp hot chili-garlic sauce
1 tsp dark sesame oil
1/2 tsp ground ginger
500 g ground chicken
Oil grill and heat barbecue to medium. Finely grate 1 tsp (5 mL) peel from lime into a large bowl. Squeeze in 1 tbsp (15 mL) juice. Stir in onion, soy, chili-garlic sauce, sesame oil and ginger. Crumble in chicken. Using a fork or your hands, gently mix together. Shape into 4 burgers, about 1/2 inch (1 cm) thick.
Place on grill. Barbecue with lid closed until burgers are cooked through, 6 to 8 minutes per side.
Tuck into sesame buns spread with soy-flavoured mayo, if you wish. Great with a mango-spinach salad.

Preheat grilling machine to medium-high. Place burgers on grill. Grill with lid closed until burgers are cooked through, 5 to 7 minutes.
