1 tbsp butter
2 pears, cored and sliced
1/2 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1 tbsp marmalade, or brown sugar
Heat butter in a frying pan set over medium heat. When bubbly, add pears. Sprinkle with curry powder and ground cumin. Sauté, stirring frequently, until pears are tender, from 8 to 10 min. Add marmalade or brown sugar and toss untill glazed, about 1 minute. Great with pork or chicken.
