Crêpe française

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • 1 1/2 cups milk

  • 1 tbsp cognac, or brandy

  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  • Adjust rack to lowest level and preheat oven to 375F (190C). Using a whisk, lightly beat eggs with sugar.

  • Whisk in flour until smooth. Stir in butter, milk, cognac and vanilla. When smooth, pour into a buttered 9-inch (23-cm) pie plate. Bake on bottom rack of preheated oven until golden, from 30 to 35 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
