1 cup milk
1 cup water
2 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp regular mustard, optional
133-g pkg fettuccine alfredo, such as Lipton Sidekicks
1/2 to 1 cup chopped cooked ham, or chicken
1 cup frozen peas
Combine milk with water, butter and mustard in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat. Stir in package of noodles including sauce mix, then reduce heat to medium. Cook, uncovered and stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender, about 8 minutes. Then stir in ham and peas and stir often until hot throughout, about 1 to 2 more minutes.
