2 thick wedges of lime
1 tsp superfine sugar
1/4 cup mango juice
3 tbsp cachaca or vodka
crushed ice
Using back of a wooden spoon or pestle, mash lime wedges in a short, wide glass. (Be careful not to crush lime skin much or you'll end up with a bitter taste.) Remove wedges. Stir sugar into lime juice. Pour in mango juice and vodka. Add ice.

This is our mango-laced version of a caipirinha, one of Brazil's most popular drinks.
Superfine sugar is sold in grocery stores. Or simply pulse granulated sugar in a food processor until finely ground.
