Sherried cranberry punch

Ingredients

  • 1.14-L bottle white or red cranberry juice, about 5 cups

  • 1 orange, thinly sliced

  • 1 lime, thinly sliced

  • 1 cup fresh cranberries

  • 750-mL bottle chilled medium-dry sherry, about 3 cups

Instructions

  • Pour juice into a large pitcher. Add orange and lime slices and cranberries. Cover and refrigerate, stirring occasionally, several hours or overnight. Just before serving, add sherry.

A bottle of sherry goes a long way in this festive punch. Add white or red cranberry juice according to your mood and garnish with fresh citrus.
