Thyme and ginger sour cocktail

Mixologist Nishan Nepulangoda from Toronto’s Blowfish Restaurant shakes up this star-worthy cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup vodka

  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice

  • 1 tbsp simple syrup*

  • 1/4 cup ginger beer

  • fresh thyme, for garnish

Instructions

  • Combine vodka, lime juice and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker, add a handful of ice, then shake for 10 sec.

  • Pour into a rocks glass.

  • Top with ginger beer and garnish with fresh thyme.
