Pomegranate no. 9 cocktail

Top mixologist Brynley Leach of Old Montreal’s Le Bremner serves up a vacation vibe and a hit of vitamin C in this fresh reimagined Sex on the Beach

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp pomegranate seeds

  • freshly squeezed orange juice, from 1 orange

  • 1 1/2 oz vodka

  • 1/4 oz peach liqueur

  • 1 egg white

  • mint leaves, to garnish

Instructions

  • Add pomegranate kernels to a shaker and muddle until all are popped. Fill shaker halfway with ice. Add orange juice, vodka, peach liqueur and egg white. Shake vigorously for about 20 sec.

  • Strain into a glass filled with ice. Garnish with mint leaf, a citrus slice and more kernels.

*Bring equal parts sugar and water to a boil. Remove from heat and cool before using
