Lazy morning brunch

Give Mom a healthy start with Gwyneth's favourite gluten- and dairy-free waffles. For a simple yet delicious topper, add the Chatelaine Kitchen's Maple Berries.

From our kitchen: Maple berries

1 cup blackberries, 1 cup blueberries, 1 cup maple syrup

Combine berries and maple syrup in a small pot. Heat gently until warmed through, about 3 min. Serve over waffles.

Show her how much you care with this crunchy, refreshing salad. Packed with protein and Asian flavours, it's as tasty as it is pretty.

Fresh family dinner

Straight from the grill, these burgers are so incredibly good, you won't need a bun! Gather the gang and enjoy, with the Chatelaine Kitchen's delicious Bok Choy Salad.

From our kitchen: Bok choy salad

12 mini bok choy cut in half, 4 tsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp rice vinegar, 2 tsp sesame oil, 1 tsp sugar, 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Steam bok choy until tender. Rinse with cold water and pat dry. Mix remaining ingredients and drizzle over bok choy.
