Up the wall

Up the wall
Behold Chatelaine's production wall: This is where the art department posts mini page-proofs of articles to get a feel for how the magazine as a whole is taking shape. The wall itself is like a giant floor-to-ceiling magnet board, which makes it easy to swap out those blanks for colour lay-outs. I really look forward to this visual preview each production cycle - I think all Chatelaine staffers do. As more page proofs are completed, people tend to slow down as they walk past this wall to get a peek at how the issue's coming to life. -Marlene Rego
