A Sex and the City spinoff may be in the works

The Sex and the City rumour mill is churning once again, thanks to a cryptic tweet by Kim Cattrall (a.k.a. Samantha).

If ever there was an occasion for an afternoon cosmo: Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall may have just hinted at a long-anticipated SATC revival. On Saturday morning, Cattrall — whose alter-ego is the always fabulous, sometimes monogamous Samantha Jones — retweeted a clip of talk show host Wendy Williams chatting up the rumoured spinoff. Take a peek for yourself:

Sure, fingers crossed isn't an emphatic "yes, yes, yes!" but one has to wonder: Will this be the first time the well-heeled foursome reunite since the disappointing Sex and the City 2? Will fans soon get a glimpse of Samantha's sexagenarian antics? *Sips drink excitedly*
