The news: Forbes released its annual list of all the world's billionaires on Monday, and one thing is clear: we all should have gone into programming. Microsoft magnate Bill Gates is still sitting pretty in the top spot with an estimated net worth of $79.2 billion, but a record 290 newcomers flooded the roundup this year. In addition to well-known names like Zuckerberg and Buffett, NBA legend Michael Jordan appeared for the first time in 2015 thanks to some serious payouts from Nike and his stake in the Charlotte Hornets. The founders of Airbnb, Snapchat and Uber rep the Silicon Valley contingent with fortunes of $1.9, $1.5 and $5.3 billion respectively. And the richest rookie on the list? Maria Franca Fissolo, the widow of Nutella king Michele Ferrero.
