What does money mean to you?
Question of 7 Shopping is... a necessity when I need something. my favourite sport. fun, especially if I'm shopping for other people. complete torture. Credits cards are... a great way to build up a credit rating and a handy alternative to carrying cash. OK for investment purchases. brilliant – I can buy what I want without worrying if I can afford it! good for my children to have in case of emergencies. When I go out for dinner with friends... we ask for separate cheques. sometimes I pay, sometimes they pay – it all works out eventually. I usually fight for the cheque. we split the bill evenly. If I won a big lottery, I would... never have to think about money again. share it with friends, family and charities, but keep enough to live on. pay off the mortgage and live off the interest. use it to start my own business. If I don't have any money in the bank, I... use my credit cards and line of credit – isn't that what they're for? worry that I won't be able to fulfill my obligations. get anxiety attacks (or I would if it ever happened). use credit to leverage opportunities. When I go shopping for something I need I... usually come home with a few extras. find it, buy it and go home. shop around to make sure I'm getting the best price. look around to see if there's anything I need to pick up for friends or family.
