The Chatelaine Book Club and Random House recently co-hosted the very first annual Bookstravaganza event at the Ritz-Carlton in Toronto.

Book lovers gathered for a festive evening of cocktails and Chatelaine’s very own hors d'oeuvres (little cubano sandwiches and balsamic and prosciutto figs), and were treated to a candy bar and Bourjois Paris lip-gloss station. But the highlight of the evening was a preview of fall’s hottest books, from romances and mysteries to memoirs and cookbooks. Later, guests had the chance to meet award-winning novelists Shauna Singh Baldwin (author of The Selector of Souls) and Annabel Lyon (author of The Sweet Girl) to have their books signed.

Chatelaine would like to thank Random House for co-hosting the fabulous evening. Stay tuned for more exciting upcoming Book Club events!
