It only takes few items and some neutral paper to create an endless number of stunning gift-wrapping combinations. The first step is to pick a colour palette and stick with it. Brown, gold and black makes mixing and matching easy.
Craft paper is a great because it’s inexpensive, comes in large rolls and can be used year-round. (Who doesn’t like a brown paper package tied up with string?) This holiday, wrap everything in craft paper or change it up with black or gold wrapping.
Tie a pretty bow on your package with string or ribbon. Keep things simple; black and white goes with everything.
Is there ever a time when washi tape doesn’t come in handy? The answer is no. It will be your best friend this holiday season: Use it to attach gift cards, make decorative flags on presents or to liven up craft paper.
Feeling extra ambitious? Write the person’s name using a fancy gold pen.
Instantly make plain paper more festive using wintry stamps.
Attach bells or fresh greenery for an extra-special finishing touch. Have a cedar bush in your garden? Clip a small branch off and attach it to your gift.
