I've always had a great love for books. Not only do I find myself deep within the stories, books have also contributed to the narrative of my life. Looking at the bookshelves in my home, I'm reminded of all the places that I've travelled to – both figuratively and literally.
Lately I've been noticing a trend in design magazines: using books as art display. It makes sense – afterall, books have such beautifully designed covers and it seems a pity to hide them away. It's a lovely way to add a pop of colour and personality to your space. An easy way to decorate with books and avoid the risk of things looking cluttered is to create neat little stacks grouped according to colour. You'll have a stylish display, instantly. It's an easy (and free!) little switch up for when you want to quickly update your decor.
