Decorate your home with cheery yellow for spring

Bright, cheerful daffodils, lemony yellow forsythia and, of course, the return of warm, sunny afternoons - no other colour seems to reflect the excitement of spring quite like yellow.

Bright, cheerful daffodils, lemony yellow forsythia and, of course, the return of warm, sunny afternoons - no other colour seems to reflect the excitement of spring quite like yellow. Naturally warm and cheery, psychologists have long associated this colour with feelings of optimism as our bodies naturally release seratonin when we are around this warm hue. While it's the most attention-grabbing shade of the rainbow, there is the risk of it being overpowering, but used sparingly it can be just the right boost of energy to lift your spirits every time you see it.

Here are a few favourite yellow pieces from Canadian Etsy sellers to bring a little burst of spring sunshine into your home.
