Need proof that worrying taxes the mind and body?

Here it is: A new study from Ohio University reveals that spending too much time sweating the small stuff can cause chronic inflammation — and contribute to a host of problems, like heart disease, depression, diabetes and arthritis. So what’s the best way to stamp out stress? Researcher Peggy Zoccola suggests an easy, “novel” trick you can do anywhere: journalling! “In addition to getting your emotions out, writing about a distressing event helps you create a story, find meaning in it and move on.”

Try it today: Next time you feel overwhelmed, put pen to paper — and spill your guts!
