Yale researchers say the temperature of your drink affects how your brain reacts to things.

Some like it hot: To head off family squabbles, pour everyone a hot cup of cocoa — the physical sensation of warmth encourages emotional warmth, too.

Some like it cold: Going online shopping? Drink iced coffee or a chilled wine spritzer. Cold drinks prevent us from making impulse decisions.
