Weekend style: White jeans with a dark denim shirt

I must confess that I have a hardcore crush on Emmanuelle Alt, the editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, for her laid-back, but razor-sharp style. Plus, she's one of the coolest mothers out there. Her much-copied laissez-faire look has become her signature style: skinny jeans or leather bottoms, a simple but killer tee and blazer and designer heels.

I love this combination of skinny white jeans with a dark blue denim top, an amazing belt with gold buckles and open-toed, lace heels. Be sure the jeans are cropped and the cuffs rolled. Beauty? Follow Alt's lead and leave the hair down and the makeup to a minimum.
