Weekend style: Get Michelle Pfeiffer's masculine retro look

Michelle Pfeiffer stepped out for the premiere of her new film, The Family, in a look that could have been pulled from the set of Scarface.

Pfeiffer nails the retro, masculine-inspired (some may call it, man repelling) look with high-waisted pants, a gold-print harlequin diamond Alexander McQueen jacket, and a high-collar blouse that adds a feminine touch.

Admittedly high-waisted trousers are not for everyone but neither are low-waisted jeans. If you have the body type for high-waisted pants then this silhouette can help define your waist and make your legs look longer. A few things to keep in mind if you opt for this pant style: keep the shirt tucked in and wear a shoe with a generous heel.

Play up a bold look with dark, lined eyes, a natural lip and dewy skin, and emphasize the neck by pulling back a few strands of hair and letting the rest cascade in loose curls.

We think Pfeiffer's man fetching look is solid gold.
