Weekend style: Patterned pants, t-shirt and lightweight blazer

Test out a pair of bold, printed pants on the weekend and take along a light blazer for unseasonably cool spring days.

Admittedly, this is a look that I'd wear both during the week and the weekend. Patterned pants and a lightweight blazer are the perfect mix of fun and function. If you're tempted by the numerous bold and bright pants available this season but haven't taken them out for a spin (yet), test drive them out on the weekend first. Our unpredictable spring weather on the East coast means a lightweight jacket over a simple, white tee is the perfect layering piece. Add a pair of oversized sunglasses in a burnt orange-brown shade to complement sunkissed, summer skin.

The golden, slightly ombre hair with minimal makeup and a loose wave balance out the relaxed look.
