Weekend style: Preppy chic at TIFF
The nights were reserved for designer gowns at TIFF (which we loved!), but this ivy league look is on point for autumn days.

When the stars in town for TIFF weren’t walking the red carpet, sound-biting at a premiere, or schmoozing at an after party, they could be found throughout the day attending lounges and portrait studios, and at junkets and interviews. Swedish actress Alicia Vikander, who was in Toronto to promote two films, The Fifth Estate and Hotell, chose feminine gowns for the red carpet but kept it preppy for day, making it easy to hop from one event to another.
With her collared H&M top and green skinny cargo pants, she wore kitten heels and carried an oversized brown bag. We love her simple beauty look: A glowy complexion, pale pink on the lips and pulled back hair.
