Onions

Here's what we suggest you do with leftover onions
Add as preferred on Google(opens in a new tab)
leftover ingredients, loose ends, red onion, vegetable

Red onions:

Quick relish

Stir diced onions with balsamic vinegar and sugar in a small saucepan. Cook until onion is soft. Serve with burgers or chicken.

BBQ marinade
Purée onions with fresh ginger, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil and salt. Marinate chicken or pork in mixture, then grill.

Shallots:

Gourmet side
Cut in half and roast with potatoes. Serve with roast beef.

French dressing
Mince and stir into Dijon vinaigrette.
