Here's what we suggest you do with leftover chilies

leftover ingredients, loose ends, chili, chili powder

Chili powder:

Spicy mango salsa

Sauté 1 tsp with 2 chopped shallots until soft. Stir in 1 grated firm ripe mango. Serve with Indian food.

Blackened chicken
Combine with equal amounts cocoa powder, honey and vegetable oil. Sprinkle generously over boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Cook in a non-stick pan over medium until done.

Thai sweet chili sauce:

Everyday Asian

Brush over salmon fillets before roasting. Garnish with sliced green onions.

Spicy breakfast
Beat 2 eggs with 1 tsp sauce, then scramble in a pan. Serve with strips of Canadian bacon.
