4 large frozen beef burgers, or sirloin burgers
4 pinches cayenne pepper
4 pinches hot-red-chili-flakes
4 tbsp salsa
Lightly brown frozen burgers in a non-stick frying pan set over medium-high heat, about 2 to 4 minutes per side. Drain off any fat, leaving just a film on pan. If frying pan is not large enough to brown burgers all at once, sauté in batches of two. Burgers shrink as they cook, allowing 4 to eventually fit in a large frying pan.
Lightly sprinkle browned burgers with pinches of cayenne and hot red pepper flakes. Spread 1 tablespoon (15 mL) salsa over top of each burger. Reduce heat to medium, cover and cook until burgers are done, from 7 to 10 minutes.
